Our adventure starts as we leave the Kathmandu valley by private van, enjoying scenic views along the Prithvi Highway. We’ll rendezvous with our bikes in Kurintar, located on the banks of the Trishuli River. From here, you’ll take the handlebars for a thrilling climb up to Bandipur, a beautifully preserved Newari town. Its traffic-free stone lanes and traditional architecture create a magical atmosphere. As evening approaches, prepare for a stunning sunset over the Himalayan range.
Highlights:
Today’s ride takes us through picturesque rolling hills and lush green landscapes as we make our way to Nepal’s adventure capital, Pokhara. The ride is relaxed, allowing you to fully absorb the changing scenery. Upon arrival, we check into our resort. The evening is best spent by the serene Phewa Lake, enjoying dinner with the iconic pyramid of Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) reflecting in the water.
Highlights:
The adventure deepens as we ride north into the Kali Gandaki Valley. Passing through the town of Beni, the pavement gives way to more rugged terrain. We’ll ride alongside the world’s deepest gorge, stopping at Tatopani to enjoy a relaxing dip in the natural hot springs. Re-energized, we continue our ascent through pine forests and past powerful waterfalls to reach the hamlet of Kalopani, which offers magnificent, up-close views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna massifs.
Highlights:
Today, the landscape transforms dramatically. We ride through Marpha, a delightful town famous for its apple orchards and potent apple brandy. Pushing on, we reach Jomsom, the district headquarters and gateway to Upper Mustang. The terrain becomes a windswept, high-altitude desert. Before our final ascent, we explore Kagbeni, an ancient, fortified village that feels like a time capsule. From here, we climb to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath, a place of immense spiritual significance for both Hindus and Buddhists, set against a backdrop of stunning valley views.
Highlights:
This is the day we’ve been waiting for. After clearing our special permits, we officially enter the restricted region of Upper Mustang. The ride is otherworldly, through a surreal landscape of eroded canyons and colorful rock formations. We traverse high passes like the Ghemi La before taking a dramatic route via Dhakmar, known for its stunning red cliffs. We will also visit the ancient Ghar Gumba, one of the oldest monasteries in the region, before finally arriving at the gates of the legendary walled city of Lo Manthang.
Highlights:
Today is dedicated to immersing ourselves in the timeless culture of Lo Manthang. We will explore the narrow alleyways of this incredible city on foot. We’ll visit the Royal Palace, the former residence of the King of Lo, and explore the city’s three great monasteries: Jampa, Thupchen, and Chodey. The intricate murals and ancient statues within are priceless treasures of Tibetan art. Spend the day interacting with the local Loba people and observing a way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries.
Highlights:
Our exploration continues as we ride to the incredible Chhoser Cave, a multi-storied complex of man-made caves carved deep into a cliff face. This ancient settlement once housed an entire community. After exploring this architectural marvel, we ride to the stunning and less-visited Yara and Ghara villages, set amidst fantastic eroded landscapes. The accommodation here is basic, but the experience is profoundly authentic.
Highlights:
We begin our journey south, bidding farewell to the hidden kingdom. The ride back offers a new perspective on the majestic landscapes we’ve traversed. The route will once again showcase the dramatic cliffs and vast valleys of Mustang before we descend back to the greener, more fertile terrain of Lower Mustang. Our destination is the charming and clean village of Marpha, where we can celebrate our journey with some local apple products.
Highlights:
The ride today is mostly downhill, leaving the arid mountains behind. We retrace our steps through Jomsom and the Kali Gandaki valley, enjoying the smoother terrain. Our destination is the town of Kusma, famous for its vertigo-inducing suspension bridges. For the ultimate thrill-seekers, this is your chance to conquer the world-renowned bungee jump or canyon swing at our resort, The Cliff.
Highlights:
We leave the main highway behind for a beautiful ride through winding hill roads to the historic town of Tansen. Perched on a hillside, Tansen was once the capital of a powerful kingdom and retains a rich architectural and cultural heritage distinct from other parts of Nepal. Explore its cobbled bazaar and admire the old palaces and traditional Newari houses.
Highlights:
Today offers a dramatic change of scenery as we descend from the cool hills to the humid, tropical plains of the Terai. The ride takes us to the edge of Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its incredible biodiversity. After checking into our jungle lodge, the evening is dedicated to an engaging cultural performance by the local Tharu people.
Highlights:
A full day dedicated to wildlife exploration! Chitwan is home to the one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, monkeys, crocodiles, and the majestic Bengal tiger. Your expert guide will lead you on a series of adventures to maximize your chances of incredible wildlife sightings.

Traveling to high-altitude regions can be both thrilling and physically demanding. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, it’s essential to prepare your body and mind. Here are some key practices to help reduce the risk of altitude-related discomfort:
Drink water regularly in small quantities—ideally every 10–15 minutes. Using a hydration pack can make this process more convenient, especially on the move. Proper hydration helps your body adapt more efficiently to reduced oxygen levels.
Certain medications, like acetazolamide (commonly known as Diamox), may aid in preventing altitude sickness. Please consult your physician well in advance of your journey to ensure it’s suitable for you, particularly if you have existing health conditions or allergies.
Incorporate potassium-rich items such as bananas, potatoes, avocados, and spinach into your meals before and during the trip. These foods support better fluid balance and muscle function—both important for altitude adaptation.
We are fully equipped with emergency oxy can. Our trained guides can identify early signs of oxygen deprivation and will administer oxygen, if required. Always communicate any unusual symptoms to your guide without delay.
Mental preparedness is just as vital as physical conditioning. While recognizing that oxygen levels are lower at high altitudes, it’s important to remain calm and composed. Avoid panic, stay mindful, and trust your guide’s expertise. A positive mindset can go a long way in helping your body adjust more smoothly.
Our itinerary is carefully crafted to follow a gradual ascent model, moving from lower to higher altitudes over successive days. This slow and steady increase gives your body time to acclimatize, significantly lowering the chances of altitude-related issues and enhancing overall comfort.
